About Johann by Sherry…
The day I married Johann, I married my best friend. He is the most devoted and caring person you could ever meet. He would do anything for family or friends. Johann has such a great sense of humor he can always make me laugh and friends often say their cheeks hurt from laughing after spending a day with him. When we are with friends or family who have kids Johann is often outside playing football or baseball with the kids. He is always sure to start each day with "I love you" and a kiss. We never leave the house without saying "goodbye" and "I love you."

Johann is very active lifting weights, golfing, fishing, and has recently taken up my joy of running. We now run races for charity together! Johann is also a volunteer Fire Fighter in our community which demonstrates his courage and dedication to helping others in need. Family always comes first in Johann’s eyes.

About Sherry by Johann…
Sherry is the most caring, loving and fun-loving individual I have ever met! That is why I married her! I knew I was going to marry her within a few weeks of us dating. Our friends say that Sherry and I have a unique relationship. I think we do. Its hard to explain, but we don't sweat the small stuff, and talk about everything. Our personalities compliment each other.

Sherry is a very motivated person. She is always looking for opportunities to learn and help people. There has not been a year that we have known each other, that she has not been involved in some sort of education, whether it be learning or teaching. Sherry is an amazing cook as well! She is always looking for new recipes on the internet for ideas, but I don't think I have ever seen her measure a single ingredient!

If there was an award for being the most active person, Sherry would win! She is my motivation and role model for getting off the couch and doing something. She runs, lifts weights, walks and bikes almost every day. She runs road races year round, and has quite a few ribbons and medals!

Our Home…
We live in rural Minnesota on a golf course. Our 5-bedroom, 3-bathroom home is ready for kids. The nursery is decorated in Boyd’s Bears with neutral colors for either a boy or a girl. Our best friends live out our backdoor with their three boys ranging in age from one to nine years old. Our neighborhood is filled with mainly young families who all interact with each other. In the summer there is usually a game of some type going on each night in at least one yard, where all the kids gather.

Our Families…
Sherry grew up on a farm/ranch in North Dakota where her parents still reside and she still goes to help her dad with farming for a week in the summer. She has two brothers and two sisters all married with three nieces and five nephews and living in North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota.

Johann grew up moving from state to state. However, he calls Minnesota home. His parents live about two hours away from us and we see them often. He has a brother and sister both married with one niece and one nephew living within two hours of us.
